We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM until 6 PM. Chile is on Eastern Standard Time during the day light savings period in the United States and is 2
hours earlier than Eastern Standard Time during the non-day light savings period in the United States. All reservation requests are subject to lodging availability.
EXPEDITION CONDITIONS: Minimum stay per package is two nights. During Chilean Holiday periods, a one week minimum stay is required. Packages are
available only in conjunction with lodging at a Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A. facility.
EXPEDITION RATES: All rates, unless otherwise noted, are per person based on
double occupancy. Rates are for land package prices and do not include your airfare to and from Puerto Montt, Chile. All rates are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
PAYMENT: A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the package price per person is required within seven days of booking. Full payment is due 120 days prior to travel.
Bookings made 120 days or less prior to departure are due in full at time of booking. Your payment or travel agency payments should be wired as indicated
below, followed by a fax or e-mail providing us with the wire transfer number:

EXPEDITED SERVICE: Reservations requested 30 days or less prior to departure are subject to a $250.00 expedited handling fee. To assure the best possible
customer service, Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A. must have a minimum of 10 business days advance notice prior to departure in order to process a reservation request.
CHANGES: Each change made within 120 days of departure date is subject to a $100.00 per booking fee plus any charges assessed by other vendors. Groups of 4
or more traveling together may be subject to additional change fees after initial deposit has been received, including additional vendor charges. All requested
changes are subject to availability. All Changes must be made through Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A..
EXPEDITION DOCUMENTS: Expedition documents will be issued 30 days prior
to departure. Documents cannot be released until full payment has been received by Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A.; late payment may cause reservation to be canceled without notice.
CANCELLATIONS: In addition to the nonrefundable deposit, in-country air and ground transportation cancellations associated with your reservation are fully
nonrefundable. For all other expedition packages, cancellations are subject to a penalty equal to one night's lodging plus any applicable ground and/or airfare
transportation carrier penalties or fees. Cancellations received 120 days or less prior to departure are fully nonrefundable. Failure to check in to the Southern Chile
Expedition facility on scheduled arrival date or no shows will be subject to 100% package cancellation fee. All Cancellations must be made through Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A..
REFUNDS: Once travel commences unused services are nonrefundable. Completely unused tour vouchers, due to trip cancellation, are subject to applicable
cancellation fees. Refund requests can be honored only when submitted in writing with the applicable tour documents. Refund requests must be received within 30
days of cancellation. Mail refund requests our mail address as provided above.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Experienced travelers know that an unplanned occurrence
can always arise, before or during a trip. Cancellation penalties can be steep, even if due to an unforeseen emergency. We strongly recommend that you purchase
travel insurance. Trip cancellation, baggage, personal accident, injury, and liability insurance are recommended. Alternate forms and types of insurance are available
and may be obtained from your travel agent or insurance broker.
HOTELS: Hotel rooms included in Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A. packages are
on a standard lodging basis with size and location at the management's discretion. The right is reserved to substitute lodging if necessary. Check-in time is normally
4:00 pm; check-out time is normally 11:00 am. We will check your luggage if you arrive earlier. Note: guests will be asked for a cash or traveler's check deposit to
cover incidental charges not prepaid through Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A..
FOREIGN TRAVEL: When traveling between the U.S. and CHILE, a valid passport
is necessary to prove citizenship. No visa is required in Chile or Argentina. Please note that Chile charges an entry fee of $100.00 in U.S. funds payable on entry to the
country. Our package prices DO NOT include Chilean 18% (I.V.A) and Argentine 21% Value Added Taxes for residents of Chile and Argentina as applicable.
RESPONSIBILITY: Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A. shall not be liable for any inconvenience, loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity which may be
occasioned by reason of defect or through the act or omissions of any person or company performing or rendering services. The services described in this web site
and/or in other literature, other than than those furnished specifically by Southern Chile Expeditions, S. A., may be furnished by independent contractors who are not
